Sharing Our Message
The past quarter has resulted in the birth of Axcelero’s newest initiative. Through this, Axcelero plans to organize events where we discuss pressing issues while also publicizing our organization’s free resources which are available to all prospective immigrants and students alike.
To begin, our first event was the ‘Bridging the Gap’ conference at Akwa-Ibom University in Nigeria. At this event, our directors presented a keynote addressing the transgenerational education barrier and bridging the gap between education and business. The event was a great success and showed promise in the new initiative’s potential impact. Among the audience members was the deputy governor of Akwa Ibom, Mr. Moses Frank Ekpo. We were honored to have been able to present important information as well as provide a channel of conversation and future resource distribution to over 3,000 students in a single presentation period.
Going forward, our organization is in the final stages of forming two more agreements for speaking engagements at universities in Nigeria and India. Additionally, we are in the early stages of talks regarding a potential conference in Ireland and Italy with the help of two translators we will be working with. We plan to address topics regarding respective push / pull factors for emigrants and immigrants, gender discrimination blocking the path to education, and the importance of breaking the poverty cycle through overcoming the educational barrier using support and aid programs.
With a large enough audience, words can speak just as loud as actions.
